“I can see clearly now the rain is gone. I can see all obstacles in my way. Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind. It’s gonna be a bright, bright sunshiny day. It’s gonna be a bright, bright, sunshiny day.”
Are you able to see clearly now? Can you see all the obstacles in your way? Do the dark clouds like thick low hanging fog still block your vision, goal, and final destination? Are you still traumatized and paralyzed by almighty anxiety, almighty fear, or by your almighty formidable past regrets and failures? Remember, your rearview mirror pales in comparison to your panoramic breathtaking windshield view of epic vision, dreams, hope, and a fabulous fantastic future that awaits you.
However, with innate self-discipline, iron will, and a made up mind, you must exercise laser focus on your future, and with every breath you make, and every step you take, you must give up no ground. As you’ve come far too far to abandon your vision, dreams, and hope–your life. Regardless of your age, you are too young, too promising, and too blessed to be saddled, sidelined, and/or sabotaged by figments of festering fear which you continue to befriend, feed and foster.
Now is not the time to say, “I could a, should a, would a” but now is the time to stand sturdy and staunch in who you are, and own your strong convictions, own your decisions, and take ahold of your vision. Fight the good fight of faith for you. Advocate tenaciously for you. Power forward amidst the self-distractions, self-doubt, self-fear, and self-deprecation and disappointments for you. As you begin to do this, then you will experience the words of this amazing song.
“I can see clearly now the rain is gone. I can see all obstacles in my way. Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind. It’s gonna be a bright, bright sunshiny day. It’s gonna be a bright, bright sunshiny day.”
Be well, be bold, and be strong as you face-off with the ultimate challenger–you.
Remember, your community of faith and cloud of witnesses are praying for you…
