21st century poetry/essays from a spiritual perspective

He Is Risen Indeed!

We stand and lift up our hands to the highest heavens, and we give unbroken, unabashed and unapologetic praise to the Unmovable Cause, Ancient Rock Of Ages – the Lord of Armies is His name.  For He is the firstborn of all creation, the firstfruits of the resurrection and the quintessential image of Almighty God, through whom, by whom, and for whom were all things created.

The living God who has covenant with the sun and the moon.  The living God who has covenant with the Abraham, Isaac and Israel.  And the living God the Father who has covenant with God the Son and God the Holy Spirit has redeemed the soul of man from the pit of emptiness.  For on this mighty resurrection morn, the powerful Son of God rose triumphantly in all the fullness of the Trinity from the inescapable gravity, grip and grave of death.  Therefore, this morning we have just cause to rejoice with unspeakable, uncontainable, and inexpressible joy.  For the tomb is empty as He has arisen from the dead.  He is risen indeed!
