Spoken word by the spiritual poet

This thought was inspired back on October 28, 2013 by 2 Corinthians 3:2-3 as it concerns us being living letters to be read by the public at large.  The love of Christ is a personal encounter but its affect on us cannot be privatized.  So as we live in and live out the will of God in our lives, let us remember that we are living letters from the Lord to be read at will by anyone, anytime, anywhere.  God be glorified in our lives, amen.

“We Are Living Letters” 

My brothers and sisters, I want to remind you, that you’re unique and invaluable on this immortal journey with Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Emmanuel, Ebenezer, our stone of help is with us. As we declare, hither by thy help we’ve come and we don’t believe he’s brought us this far by his faith to leave us!

He has called us to be “Living Letters” uncut, unplugged, unfiltered and publicly published for the entire world to read. This is a humble and an amazing calling by an amazing love which looks beyond all our wanderings, waywardness and wickedness and brings salvation to sully souls buried beneath layers of unspeakable guilt and condemnation. He reminds us that the grip of guilt and clutch of condemnation no longer have ahold on us as he himself bore all our sins in his body on Calvary’s Cross that we may experience eternal freedom from a mortal world.

We say “Living Letters” as we are the living media through which the grace of God is streamed. We are the living media through which the hope of God is streamed. We are the living media through which the love of God is streamed. And we are the living media through which the faith of God is streamed. To some, we will be the last media through which the world will experience a glimpse of God’s grace, hope and love. So, let us be mindful of how we share the treasure which God has poured into hearts by the Holy Spirit who indwells us.

As “Living Letters”, we will falter, we will fall and we will fail at times and unfortunately, the world will read those times in our lives as well. But in all this, the God of all grace reminds us that we shall come forth as pure gold as he will restore, support, strengthen, and establish us on higher ground in him as we are living letters.
