This is both a thoughtful perspective and insight from the male point of view as to our experience on one primary aspect of becoming soul mates by becoming one flesh with our wives.

“Becoming One Flesh Is More Than Just Sex”

I know it’s been bantered about, thought about, talked about and millions of songs have sung about the seemingly inexplicable, yet powerful transformational act which transports two souls into the secret, sacred and sublime bonds of intimacy when two becomes one flesh.  I know many homes have divorced, communities have cracked, princes and presidents and kings and kingdoms have killed and have been killed because of the soul bonding intimacy experience instigated by becoming one flesh.  I know men have different perspectives, persuasive power points and prerogatives as it concerns this matter but allow me to explain my experience for purposes of thought, discussion and reflection as it concerns becoming one flesh.  For most men will not allow themselves to become vulnerable enough to share their soul mate experience derived from becoming one flesh.

When a man makes love to his wife, knows his wife, or becomes one flesh with his wife it is a powerful and dynamic dual transformational experience.  In the beginning, it may seem sexual, physical and primal but that which starts as sexual, physical and primal soon after transforms and transcends the sexual, physical and emotional realms and transports you to the sacred space of our soul mate.  I believe this is instigated by the inexplicable phenomenal phenomenon of becoming one flesh.

When we become one flesh, we declare our willingness to become one in bond and body, one in flesh and fluid, and one by the mending, melding and melting of two souls into one solid living whole.  When we become one flesh, we declare that our body is not our own as we have surrendered it over to the one whom we love.  When we become one flesh, in that moment she sees the nakedness of our emotion totally unveiled, hears the ineffable sounds of our satiated soul and witnesses the rise of affection and attention exuding from the fountain of our soul to quench that which she seeks and so longs for.  When we become one flesh, the physiological properties of bodies beating as one heart and binding by bonding together create a chemistry compound which opens the portal of our souls.  It is in this special place and in this private space of intimacy where she comes into all of me and begins the foreign exchange which solders our souls into the unbreakable bonds sealed by two souls who have become one flesh.

This foreign exchange is mood altering, mind-bending, mind-blowing, and soul changing.  For now I feel her moving inside of me wherever I go.  She’s in my heart, she’s in my mind and she’s in my soul – she’s in my system.  I can’t explain it but wherever I go, I carry her within me as she’s streaming in all of my being.  Although we are apart, I feel and know her journey.  I know she’s there.  I feel her love, I feel her person and I sense her spirit is alive and growing deeply within me.  I don’t want to let her go.  I don’t want to leave her and I will not share her body or her soul with any other man, former past or former beau.  I just want her more and more.  I want all of her, mind, body and soul.  This is not an infectious infatuation nor is it a fantasy or fatal attraction but the burgeoning effects of becoming one flesh.  That is why I urge for you, long for you and yearn to become one flesh with you in my waking moments, waking days and months throughout all my granted years.  The more I become one flesh with you the more my soul desires to mate with your soul as you come into me, come alive in me and take on life giving breath in me.

Women may think we’re just simply visual and our appetite for physical attraction is primordial.  However, for us, it’s really more than just a visual, sexual and physical attraction.  For it is the coalescing of two consciences, the beating of two hearts as one, and binding, bonding and fusion of two bodies becoming one flesh solely for distilling the purest form of intimacy from the soul of our mate.  As this physical phenomenal phenomenon, one flesh is the very entry and access point for tapping into true unapologetic healthy cyclical intimacy which translates into reciprocity of affection and attention completing the soul mate circle and soul mate cycle to meet our needs.

I know I have not addressed all angles, perspectives, viewpoints and positions.  I don’t have all the scientific facts and I don’t know what’s on your mind right now.  But I’m convinced by my experience that becoming one flesh is more than just sex.
